Während die Einwohnerzahl in Deutschland über die Jahrzehnte von 2024 bis 2050 stetig abnimmt, könnte nach Ansicht von M.d.Z. in den 2050'er Jahren eine Trendwende einsetzen aufgrund globaler Verschärfungen des Klimawandels in den Ländern des Südens.
Trotz einiger bahnbrechenden Revolutionen in technischer Hinsicht (Robotische Wende, Automatisierungen) bleibt noch sicherlich sehr viel personalintensives Potential für systemrelevante Bereiche vorhanden um langfristig Zuwanderung aus dem Ausland zu rechtfertigen. Des weiteren könnte selbst in den 2050'er Jahren, wenn technische Fortschritte bereits solche Ausmaße annehmen das bereits sehr komplexe Arbeitsfelder durch KI und entsprechende Robotik übernommen werden, weiterhin viele Menschen zuwandern.
In dieser Zeit wo medizinische Entwicklung die Lebenszeit und Qualität wahrscheinlich maßgeblich verlängern, bleibt weiterhin eine gewisse Verjüngung gesellschaftlicher Komponenten von großer Bedeutung. Die Anzahl alter und hoch betagter Menschen in Deutschland wird in den 2050'er Jahre deutlich höher sein - zugleich der personelle Aufwand zur Erhaltung eines technisch umfangreichen Wohlstands. Zudem würde nach dem Jahr 2050 der Migrationsdruck deutlich zunehmen aufgrund klimatischer Unzulänglichkeiten in vielen Ländern des globalen Südens; dort steigt mittel bis langfristig die Bevölkerungszahl weiter bei gleichzeitig zunehmend problematischer Klimalage mit stärkeren Dürren, extremer Hitze und mehr Wetterkatastrophen.
Vor allen Südasien mit den sehr bevölkerungsreichen Ländern Indien, Pakistan und Bangladesch bildet für Deutschland ab 2050 die größte Gruppe zukünftiger Zuwanderer. Dort treibt extreme Hitze und massive Überbevölkerung sowie gewaltige Unwetter viele Millionen Menschen in andere Teile der Welt mit einem stabileren Klima. Deutschland (und im eigentlichen ganz Europa) zählt auch bis ins Jahr 2080 zu den Regionen mit vergleichweise angenehmeren Klimaverhältnissen. Im Vergleich zu Südasien oder Afrika bleibt es zumindest bis 2060 in Europa, speziell in Deutschland wesentlich entspannter was klimatische Veränderungen anbelangt.
Zwar sind politische Umbrüche im globalen Norden zukünftig von Bestand und migrationsfeindliche Bestrebungen betimmen teils maßgeblich ganze Weltregionen. Jedoch bleiben anderseits natürliche Bewegungen transkontinentaler Migration von Bestand; selbst stark rechtsgerichtete, nationalistische Systeme (Ungarn, Russland oder neuerdings die USA) weisen eine gewisse Migrationsrate - meist aus systemisch befreundete Länder auf. Auch in Deutschland bleibt zu erwarten das zukünftig ein Zugang durch das Asylrecht weitesgehend verhindert sein wird, da politischer Druck tendenziell in diese Richtung weist. Anderseits steigt der Anteil finanzkräftiger Zuwanderer aus immer mehr Ländern des globalen Südens die nach 2050 in Deutschland einwandern dürfen, vielmehr aus Gründen einer besseren Lebensqualität als systemrelevanter Qualifikation. Es werden dann Teile der Mittelschichten aus Indien, Pakistan, Nigeria oder Tansania sein mit viel Kapital welche sich dauerhaft in Deutschland niederlassen und bis dahin weitaus strengere Zuwanderungsbedingungen überwinden können.
